Chapter 40: I’ve Decided To Get A Divorce!

Yunyi  Editor: YunyiSong Chabai stood beside the medicine table and helped Yu Gangan tidy her herbs. But, every now and then, her gaze drifted over to Yu Gangan and Fang Zhihan.

The man and woman had been sitting to one side, staring at each other for quite some time without saying a word.

One was fresh and beautiful, while the other was handsome and cool. The two of them were very eye-catching and looked like the perfect match.

It did not matter whether they were married or not.

If Song Chabai was in Yu Gangan’s position, she wouldn’t care if Mr. Fang was really her husband. With his good looks, she would sleep with him first and talk later.

It was such a waste to not sleep with this man and stake claim on him.

But, she understood that Gangan was different. She would never be blinded by good looks and favor appearances like a foolish emperor.

Song Chabai turned around and started laughing to herself…

Meanwhile, Yu Gangan blinked and continued to stare at the man before her.

Although he was just sitting quietly, he emitted an indescribable coldness and intimidation. She knew, if they continued staring at each other like this, there would be no end.

So, Yu Gangan thought for a bit and decided to speak up first, “I don’t actually have much to talk about with you. I only have the same three things to say: who are you, why do you keep saying you’re my husband, and, get out of my house!”

Fang Zhihan’s lips curved slightly as he continued to look at Yu Gangan with his deep and sharp gaze; not saying a word.

Yu Gangan took a deep breath and continued, “I don’t like cold and quiet men. Whether I lost my memory or if I married you, I still won’t play along as your wife and live under the same roof as you. So, I’ve decided to go to the Civil Affairs Office and get a divorce!!”

Her voice was gentle, but she clearly expressed that she wanted to get a divorce.

Fang Zhihan suddenly smiled as he gracefully rested his arms casually on the armrests beside him. With his curved lips, he replied simply, “OK.”

He was certainly a man of few words.

Did this ‘OK’ mean he agreed or disagreed?

Just as Yu Gangan was questioning the man’s response, more guests arrived at the clinic.

Four men and one woman entered. Three of the men were tall, bulky and appeared brave and powerful with fierce expressions.

Meanwhile, the woman looked a little old and weak as a middle-aged man pushed her in on a wheelchair.

At this time, the bald man that seemed to be leading, said in a rough voice, “Who’s in charge here?”

Song Chabai thought it was a patient looking for treatment. Assuming that Fang Zhihan and Yu Gangan didn’t want to be disturbed, she walked out from behind the medicine table and asked, “What’s the matter?”

The bald man looked fierce. He scanned his eyes across Song Chabai and asked, “Are you in charge here?”

Seeing the intimidating look on the man’s face, Song Chabai swallowed and shook her head, “No, but you can speak to me if you have any problems.”

These people looked like they were there to cause trouble. Was it deliberate?

“If you’re not in charge, then get lost, there’s no point talking to you,” the man said as his face turned green. He then brushed Song Chabai aside.

The man was strong. Just a simple push was enough to throw Song Chabai onto the floor with a ‘bang’.

“Song Chabai…” Yu Gangan was surprised by the man’s sudden violence.

She immediately stood up and ran over to her friend worriedly, “Are you OK?”

Song Chabai waved her hand and stood up with Yu Gangan’s help, “I’m fine, I’m fine.”
