Chapter 284 – “Many called and said they want to invest in the expansion of our coffee shop.” (1)Yang Zifeng didn’t go into too much details probably because Yan Shuyu was on vacation overseas right now but Yan Shuyu’s interest was piqued and she immediately went onto Weibo to check it out.
She was startled when she looked. She was, indeed, quite famed by now.
The trending search on her was under the title of #The fairy older sister who plays the piano#. And there were so many netizens referring to her as the fairy older sister. Yan Shuyu couldn’t be happier. What even better than that was that the search about her was the second on the most trending list!In the lack of headline news, the top of the most trending list was usually occupied by all the stars. The fact that someone nameless such as Yan Shuyu was able to make her way to the top of the list perfectly demonstrated how crazy the netizens were about her look.
And after Yan Shuyu had looked on the most trending list, she figured out how she had become famed. Her little buddy did not tell the entire story. Albeit the fact that her fame had come unexpectedly, there were rhymes and reasons for it – the video about her was recorded by a somewhat famed internet influencer.
With out this explosive hot searches, Sunshine House was just a slightly well-known coffee shop on the internet. Up to the point when Yan Shuyu had resigned, there were still visitors from out of town checking out their shop from time to time. Manager Yang, their boss, however, was not a very ambitious person. He was a Second Generation Rich without a shred of worries. He was happy with the money just rolling in as is. Ergo, even though the coffee shop’s business was getting better and better, he still had no intention to start marketing the place to take it from being slightly famed to highly famed and make globs of money from the fans.
Manager Yang was lazy in nature. With the business getting better and better, the most he did is to hire a few extra employees and that was pretty much the extent of it. As such, Sunshine House was only known among a small group of enthusiasts. That being said, their lack of crazy marketing was well-received by their regulars. Yet their shop was just one of many coffee shops that was known on the web.
That being said, Manager Yang was just lazy, not foolish. He didn’t need to do a lot of work but he wasn’t going to turn any possible benefits. For example, in the event when internet influencers came to take pictures, videos, or whatnots, he would always play nice with them, possibly hoping for some publicity. Nevertheless, luck had not been on his side. Waves and waves of internet influencers had visited Sunshine House and many videos had been made there but they never stirred up any waves on the web. Instead, some of the lesser-known influencers ended up leeching off of their popularity.
Well, when one spread a net wide enough, one would eventually catch something. So, this time, Manager Yan was finally able to land himself a big fish.
It was two weeks ago and probably on a weekend when Yan Shuyu was performing. The servers all understood the mentality of their boss so, when they spotted people there with cameras who looked like they were there to make a video, all they did was reminded them to remain quiet and not walk around and distract the other patrons. There was nothing else they needed to observe in addition to those.
If the workers didn’t care then for sure Yan Shuyu didn’t care much about it either. It was her first rodeo anyway. She just carried on with her performance and, as such, her performance, along with the entire coffee shop, appeared on the internet influencers latest video.
The internet influencer observed some common courtesy and did not point the camera straight to her face. Most of them was of her side profile and her playing the piano. Yan Shuyu happened to have curled her hair that day so, naturally, she had her hair cascaded down her shoulder. While she was playing the piano, her hair was sway next to her cheeks and even her side profile wasn’t very clear.
