"So you’re saying I do have a chance to kiss you after all?" Yang Feng mused, leaning closer to her, awaiting the taste of her sweet lips against his. He placed the partition up when the slightest hint of hesitation flashed in her eyes.

"Dream on—"

He swooped in, capturing her lips, one hand at the back of her neck, bringing her closer to him and keeping her head in place, whereas the other grabbed her waist, yanking her to his lap. He licked her bottom lip and when she refused to give him entry, he squeezed her waist, coaxing her lips, forcing it open and thrusting his hot tongue into her mouth. She let out a soft gasp of surprise when their tongues met, him completely dominating over hers, leaving no room for argument.

Slowly, the hand at her waist traveled to her lower back, his fingers spread out. A low grunt came from the back of his throat when her fingers, feather-soft, trailed up his back, teasing him. His other hand became entangled in her flowy hair when he nipped her lips gently with his teeth, before giving her bruised and swollen lips a final peck.

He pulled back, breathing heavily, his eyes hooded while he watched her struggle to catch gasps of air, her chest slowly rising, giving him the perfect view of her. His hands settled on both sides of her waist, holding her properly while she straddled him, in fear that she might slip.

When she leaned in for another kiss, he grabbed her chin and kissed her cheek. "I think we should stop now." His voice was beyond husky, laced with thick desire for her. She was sitting dangerously close to his hardened crotch where one movement of her hips would drive him insane. If they continued and she squirmed during the kiss, he would lose his mind.

She laughed, "Really? Are you certain?" She teased, referring to the burning passion in his eyes, the way his fingers dug into her skin in an attempt to seize control of himself. She wiggled in his lap to get into a more comfortable position, but he held her still.

"Regretfully so." He groaned, wanting nothing more than having the car to turn around so he could take her the second she entered his bedroom.

When the black Maybach pulled up to the mall, there was a bright red carpet laid out for them. Velvet ropes guarded it as the employees lined up, hands folded in front of their stomach. When Zhao Lifei and Yang Feng stepped out of the car, a loud and long greeting was said. "Good morning President Yang and Miss Zhao!"

Zhao Lifei turned to Yang Feng who didn’t even blink at this enormous greeting. He placed a hand on her back, then changed his mind and decided to curve it around her waist.

"Let me guess, you own major shares to this company?"

There were so many people gawking at them with eyes filled with a mixture of envy, curiosity, and surprise.

"Maybe." Yang Feng answered, guiding her inside the mall where a group of people was already waiting for his arrival.

Zhao Lifei didn’t respond, for she could not find a way to scold him for taking her here. She also owned a generous amount of shares at Imperial Star Mall. At this point, it was a matter of who the store clerks would listen to, and currently, it was Yang Feng. They all swarmed to him, weighing on his words with hands and knees.

"Mr. Yang, this is the latest collection of cologne imported from France. Sir Jacquen would be delighted to see you wear his fragrance, he said it was inspired by your chic and breathtaking appearance!"

"President Yang, these fruits were grown in Japan from the highest quality of fertilizers, they’re beyond sweet and fresh. Please, do try some while you shop."

"CEO Yang, here is a cup of our company’s most exquisite tea leaves, naturally grown in the high mountains covered in snow, yet it eludes a slightly sweet while mature taste!"

Everyone was crowding him, for he rarely came here. In particular, female employees of all shapes and sizes but equally strikingly beautiful faces, were talking to him more. A lot of the people looked at him with gazes filled with bitter jealousy.

Zhao Lifei rolled her eyes at this and walked out of his arms, heading in the direction of a jewelry store. Yang Feng hurriedly followed after her, but she picked up her pace in a desire to avoid him.

She wanted to quickly buy an item without his help, knowing if he came to her, she would be forced to use his card. However, Yang Feng misinterpreted her reason for leaving him. He looked at her back, so confident yet small, storm off to the distance. He silently walked after her, and the store employees followed him.

Once they got to the store, Yang Feng felt his patience run thin. In a low, deep voice that caused the women to squirm with delight, he said, "The person to bootlick is not me, it’s her." He pointed to his woman, completely oblivious to his words, who was looking at a specific set of pearl necklaces.

Every pair of eyes trained onto the woman. The store employees recognized her as the infamous Zhao Lifei, who was currently his girlfriend. They thought this was not a serious relationship, thus, did not badger her, but hearing his words changed their perspectives. Instantly, the employees rushed to her.

"Make sure she doesn’t use her card." Yang Feng added on, his words fully traveling through their ears and into their brains.

"Understood!" They responded, hurriedly sucking up to Zhao Lifei.

Yang Feng watched from the corner in amusement as the swarm of employees catered to her from every direction. He expected to see her panic and breakdown with the items being recommended to her, maybe enough for him to come swooping in with his card, but she did not give him that satisfaction.

Instead, she remained calm, rejecting many of the requests and products. When she lifted her head and glared at him, he winked back in response, his hands resting inside of his pant pocket while he casually strolled to her.

"What’s wrong?" He teased upon seeing her grouchy stares resembling a small kitten ready to pounce on him.

She gave him a pointed look, gesturing to the female employees who finally stopped talking because Yang Feng had spoken up.

"They’re just trying to help." He watched as she pressed her pouty lips together, displeased at his words.

"I can do just fine without help." She said, walking out of the store, abandoning the clerks who finally stopped hounding her.

Yang Feng easily caught up to her side, resisting the urge to laugh. She was speed walking in an attempt to leave him in the dust, but didn’t know that this was his usual pace. He accompanied her while she browsed through a variety of stores.

Zhao Lifei stopped touching things once she realized everything her fingers grazed was bought without her consent. There were already a few employees trailing after them, bags in tow, from all of the things Yang Feng bought for her.

He seemed disappointed once she stopped touching everything, a glum expression on her face. "Touch some more." He instructed her, eager to buy out this entire mall if she wanted to.

"You’re spoiling me too much." She was afraid his treatment towards her would corrupt her behavior. Showering her with love and adoration whereas she did the polar opposite. His indulging behavior was going to spoil her rotten.

"It’s expected."

"What if I become ill-tempered in the future and throw tantrums if you suddenly stopped buying me things?"

Yang Feng’s eyes lit up at her words. "The worse tempered you are, the happier I’ll become." His plan was to get her to solely rely on him, to trap her down, so that no matter which man crossed her path, they would never be able to match the level of pampering he gave her.

She looked at him as if he had grown three heads. Hey Mister, which Korean Drama did you walk out of? How can you say things like this? "You’re crazy."

"Only for you."
